The stairway gives off an awful aura, like static constantly ringing in your ear. Each individual step creaks with greater ferocity than anything you've encountered in Heavenly Host before. It's as though they are warning you of their imminent collapse, of the great fall that will await you when they do, but they're showing no indication of when this inevitability will happen. You're only left to wonder whether it will happen at all, or whether your mind is merely playing tricks on you.
The static crinkles. The static resounds.
The stairway stretches a fair distance both upward and downward, stopping at a total of six landings ultimately bringing the floor count to three, plus a basement. The static is at its worst on the first and second floor landings. It floods your brain and makes it hard to examine the surroundings closely. A skeleton lies on the landing between the first and second floors, its bones bent in unnatural positions facing the wall. The second floor landing's door has been broken off its hinges, and somehow has fallen all the way down to the basement landing.
The door to the basement is locked, and you have to step over the second floor's hastily removed door to confirm that. You hear a strange squelch whenever you're forced to interact with it. Did it fall on top of something?
A blue flame floats on the landing between the second and third floor, and the third floor landing leads to a set of double doors which are currently fused together with the wall, appearing like a decorative door from a cheap dollhouse. A sign above the model doors reads "Principal's Office".
